Wood-C

Protega Wood-C is a semi-transparent, halogen-free, water-based fire protection coating. It can be used to achieve the B-s1,d0 fire class on light-coloured timber surfaces in interior spaces. Can be tinted to achieve desired colours.

Protega Wood-C is an intumescent paint that expands to form a layer when exposed to flame or intense heat radiation from fire. The foam layer effectively extinguishes the heat flow to the treated surface. Protega Wood-C must be overcoated with the approved topcoat Protega Topcoat C in humid conditions (RH >75%) or when a wipeable surface is desired. Protega Wood-C coated with Protega Topcoat C is approved to achieve the B-s1,d0 fire class.
