Multitherm Backing

Multitherm Backing is a glass fibre-based, bio-soluble (low bio-persistent) ceramic backing material resistant to heat up to +1100°C. Used as backing material for fire-resistant sealing of gaps and joints and in combination with Multisealant A, Multimastic SP and Multisealant GR.

Multitherm Backing forms part of the Mulcol® Fire-Stopping System.

Tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 / EN 1366-4

Classification in accordance with EN 13501-2

Approved in accordance with EAD 350454-00-1104/1106

Tested in accordance with NEN 6075 (Smoke resistance)
