Composite Board

SpecSeal® Composite Board is a lightweight, rigid and fire-resistant panel consisting of an intumescent layer adhered to galvanised steel sheet reinforced with steel wire mesh covered with aluminium foil.

SpecSeal® Composite Board is designed to seal medium and large openings with various different penetrants in fire-rated floors and walls. When exposed to temperatures above 350°F (177°C), SpecSeal® Composite Board expands at least 15 times, forming a dense insulation layer that minimises heat transfer.
